Yes it is true, Loop Barbados (The Blog) has moved location and we want you to follow us. Since our Loop Barbados site has launched, we have decided to move our very popular blog on to its own platform. From here  we will continue to share interesting, up to date information and local tips on our magical island. And not to worry, Melanie and myself have moved all of that delicious information we previously gave you over the past couple of months to our new platform. Hope you like it and can't wait to see you over there.

Monday Morning Update

Okay, so we realized we have not given our Loop readers an update on the progression of our website in about....forever! So where do we stand now? Well, the site is basically ready, however we are doing the task of not only entering, but also creating all of the content to go on the site! Our official launch date right now is April 1st 2012!

And for the launch we have an amazingly incredible surprise for all of you! In about 2-3 weeks we will announce this surprise but for now, lets just say someone and their guest are going to be very lucky! So stay in the Loop and you won't miss out!

Monday Morning Update

Good Morning everyone! How was your weekend? I am sure great! It's Monday again and Christmas is readily approaching us! Lots to prepare for and lots to do over at Loop Barbados. This past weekend has been non stop + we got to attend the Food & Wine and Rum festival on Saturday night -which was fabulous to say the least. I mean how could you go wrong with great food, great wine and great people. 

Now on to the Loop Barbados website - our Sample is about ready and it is time to test test test {oh} and did I mention test! The whole unique functionality we are designing for you has to be tip top and the layout and design immaculate! Loop Barbados is designing a preliminary experience of what Barbados has to offer; so patience is a virtue. At least that is what we are told. We are just so excited to share what is coming and want it to be ready now! Well enjoy the rest of your week my fellow travel buddies!

Monday Morning Update

Hope everyone had a brilliant weekend (whatever you all got up to). Barbados was beautiful as usual (except for some unexpected clouds and drizzles on Sunday).

We thought we would give everyone a small update on how the Loop Barbados website is coming along. We had a meeting last week Wednesday with the website designer and programer and we are happy to report that everything is coming along beautifully. We cannot wait until we get to share a little sneak peak of what the website will be like and what it will encompass! This coming week we have a few meetings with clients as well as a few projects planned. If any one has any questions on Loop Barbados or Barbados in general do not hesitate to contact us.

Welcome to Loop Barbados

Loop Barbados was created and developed by two Barbadians or "Bajans" - Kimberly Bourne and Melanie Weekes. For all of those who do not know us we are truly captivated by two things - travel and our gem of a home Barbados.  We know hands on that the most frustrating aspect of travel is to search a particular destination or region and not only be provided with incorrect and outdated content but also cold and repulsive media. The fact that we love our home and travel, inspired us to dig a little deeper into what is currently offered to potential and returning visitors. When this search resulted negatively we decided to take action. Why not provide fellow travelers with an alluring experience of Barbados and all the magic it has to offer while allowing them to make and interact with other virtual "travel buddies". Who knows Barbados better than the locals and we intend for you to gather all the informative details whilst having fun in the process.
